About Us

Amber Hom is a top-performing Realtor® who has helped over 1,000 families buy and sell homes throughout Northern California since 2007. Based in Contra Costa County, she specializes in serving the Sandwich Generation—adult children navigating real estate decisions for aging parents, growing families, or multigenerational living.

Amber’s passion for real estate started early. Raised by a single mom of four who was also a real estate agent, she learned firsthand how homeownership could create opportunity and stability. Today, she brings that same heart and determination to every client she serves.
Her certifications as a Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) allow her to provide expert guidance through complex transitions, including downsizing, estate sales, and navigating foreclosure or inherited property situations.

Known for her calm presence and solution-oriented mindset, Amber often says she’s “a spiritual teacher disguised as a real estate agent.” Her approach is patient, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s needs.

Outside of real estate, Amber enjoys cooking with her chef husband, hiking Lime Ridge Trail with her family, and giving back through local food bank work and her role on the board of Humanity Power, a social justice nonprofit.
