VistAbility is a non-profit community-based organization founded in 1965 by parents and family members of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Over the years, our services have expanded to include people of all ages with developmental disabilities and other complex needs in communities across the East Bay

VistAbility is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs. We achieve this through our diverse services that support families, foster independence and inspire personal choice.

We focus on providing stable, sustainable, and high quality person-centered services. We promote the right of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be treated respectfully, and to live in a community that is welcoming and inclusive..
