Professional consulting services are available FREE to small businesses through SBDC (Contra Costa Small Business Development Center) and SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business).

SBDC has a team of professional consultants who can assist you in reaching your business goals. The team consists of specialists in the following areas: business planning, marketing, financial solutions, business analysis, government procurement, human resources, environmental & safety compliance and energy business solutions. Free and low cost classes are also available throughout the year. SCORE provides counseling to small business owners on financing options, business planning, marketing strategies, product development and more. SCORE is made up of over 10,500 retired and working business professionals who have volunteered to help a new generation of small business owners start and grow their companies. SCORE assisted more than 300,000 people last year alone - and more than 4.5 million small business owners since 1964. The Concord Chamber hosts a SCORE counselor twice a month. One-hour appointments can be made with a SCORE counselor by calling the Score East Bay Chapter Office at (510) 273-6611, or online counseling is available at the SCORE website.
